Information integration in the DB2 can afford additional capabilities to applications by extending power of DB2 engine and SQL to process non-DB2 data. We present Sequential Files DB2 for z/OS Extender implemented as a User-Defined table function. All aspect of UDF definition, implementation, usage and management will be discussed. A fully functional UDF with the source code is made available for IDUG attendees.
